Light on Horizon after Dark

On 29th December 2012, when heard the news, the Dehli rape victim, could not be saved in Singapore hospital. Felt like another part of my heart ripped off, off-course some part was taken away the day this ghastly crime took place. This feeling is shared by millions of people across the globe. Albert Einstein once said - The most important question any human being can ask themselves is, “Is this a friendly Universe?”

Surely, we will have to ponder whether we are living in a friendly universe or hostile universe? Some time I wonder what pleasure anybody can drive by committing this kind of crime or making as young as one year child, a subject of their devilish desire. May be devil is less cruel than these so called human being. Following lines are poured into my heart by Omni present source, when I was totally submerged in the pain today, by just seeing a placard Aakrant Hriday, Khamosh Zuban, held by one thoroughly broken man : -

Aakrant Hriday, Khamosh Zuban
Wah Insaan, Wah Insaan!!
Mardangi ek Bebas Abla Pe,
Daanavata Ke hain yahi Nishaan!!

(Turbulent Heart, Mute Voice!
Bravo Man, Bravo Man!!
Imposing Manhood on a Helpless Female!
These are the only signs of Barbarianism!!)

Manavta Sharmshaar Hui!
Havaniat Gulzaar Hui!!
Tuzhko Gadh kar Uski Bhi!
Kaarigari Bekaar Hui!!

(Humanity is full of shame!
Animalism is in full bloom!!
 After making you!
Even His creation too became worthless)

Yeh Dekh Chaman Bhi Rota Hai!
Yeh Dekh Gagan Bhi Rota Hai
Janani Bhi Teri Royegi!
Kokh Meri Bekaar Hui!!

(Look the Garden is crying!
Look the Sky is also crying!!
Your mother will cry too!
Because her womb gave birth to you!!)

Paida Hua tu Iss Dharti pe,
 Zameen yahan ki Sochegi!
Kya Hua, Yeh kyuon Hua,
Mitti kya Meri Zahar Hui!!

(You were born on this land!
This is also wondering!!
What happened, why this happened!
Has my soil converted into poison!!?)

Jaanvar Aadamkhor Dekha tha!
Sarpon ke vish ko bhi Jhela tha!!
Per teri iss karni ke Aage!
Sabki kukhyati nazarandaaz hui!!

(We came across many cannibals!
We have seen many poisonous snakes!!
Before, yours this heinous act
Theirs notoriety is pardonable!!)

Now coming back to the question, are we living in a hostile or friendly, Universe? There is vast consolation in observing the Youth of our Country; they are not going to take any of this horrendous thing or injustice just by being a mute observer. A welcome change is knocking at our door. Let us not be only an observer in the coming revolution but participate. We were not fortunate enough to be a participant of our independence movement because of a deferent era, but this is of our chance to build a nation of our choice, which brings justice in practice, for everyone. Not by any violent means (remember we belongs to a nation where a certain soul of Mahatma Gandhi dwelled) but with the courage of our spirit which knows no fear or injustice.
This day is my last or may be, it is not, but it is not far away from it. -SENECA
